Trilix is seeking a Media Planner/Buyer to assist with media strategy and activation for Trilix clients. The Media Planner/Buyer will be a part of strategy development, lead the activation process for both traditional and digital campaigns, oversee reconciling vendor invoices, data entry, creative trafficking, monitoring production calendars and creative assets, and aid in industry research.

Job duties may include:

Strategy Development

  • Ideate with Media Manager and Director to develop & analyze campaign parameters, goals, & strategy.
  • Communicate with media vendors to obtain inventory & conduct an RFP process.
  • Create and deliver media presentations to internal team members and clients.

Campaign Activation

  • Oversee Coordinators to activate client campaigns towards launch.
  • Enter insertion orders within media buying software (Strata-SBMS).
  • Place digital campaigns in social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn) and Google Ads (Display, YouTube, SEM).
  • Update internal campaign tracking documents accordingly.
  • Track campaign performance and make necessary adjustments/optimizations.
    • Gain knowledge on reporting softfare (TapClicks).

Professional Relationships

  • Build relationships with media sales representatives.
  • Negotiate rates with media reps to obtain the most competitive pricing.

Accounts Payable

  • Reconcile and pay monthly vendor invoices.
  • Gather & file monthly invoices.

Research

  • Assist in analyzing media research data to determine the most appropriate selections in helping a client achieve its goals and objectives.
  • Attention to detail with campaign trends month over month & ability to project future trends.

Participation and development

  • Help with monitoring buying strategies, in-house ad campaigns and optimizations for live media campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing and media trends, tactics and vendors.
  • Assist in discussing projects with clients and media team.

Ideal candidate must have:

  • 1-3 years of media coordinating, planning and/or buying experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of finance/accounting & interpreting data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, prioritizing and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
