What is your professional background?
I got into video production through film photography. I graduated from Loras College in 2018 with a degree in media studies and a minor in marketing. I’ve always loved the intersection of brand and documentary storytelling. I’ve worked for a couple of production companies on a range of media from documentaries to PBS television shows and everything in between. After short stints in Memphis and Seattle, I’ve found my way back home to Des Moines.
What motivates you at work?
I love creating really pretty images, to keep it simple. I’m a very visual person, and it’s rewarding to me to be able to focus on composition and color. Besides that, I absolutely love the opportunity to travel for work and see new places. I’ve gotten to check off a lot of new states on my map through this job.
What’s a fun fact about you?
Outside of the studio, I’m likely shooting and developing film, cycling, gardening, solo traveling, and/or camping.
