Hannah Walker, media coordinator, supports the planning and activation of media campaigns, collaborating with vendors to target the right audiences and select the most effective media channels. She helps keep campaigns on track by organizing key details, facilitating creative delivery, processing payments and assisting with reporting — all to ensure a seamless execution that aligns with client objectives.

What is your professional background?

After graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a minor in technical communications, I worked as a marketing coordinator at a marketing and PR agency in the East Village. I also started building a portfolio of freelance clients and still work as a freelance social media manager for a few of them. I wanted to join the Trilix media team to gain a more in-depth understanding of the planning, buying and activation side of campaigns.

What initially intrigued you about working in this field?

I was initially intrigued by this field because I love being creative and working with a variety of people, which this field seemed to involve a lot of. I enjoy helping people meet their goals and am drawn to the fast-paced, constantly changing nature of media, as I love working on multiple things at once.

Favorite food, film and furry friend?

I love Chinese takeout food, psychological thrillers and cats. I have two cats named Elfie and Pepe who I love with all my heart.
